You need an offer of place from an approved education provider. The visa is applied for online and can cover your whole course, up to 4 years.

- Visa fee: From NZD 850
- Living funds: NZD 20,000 for each year of study, plus tuition
- Work while studying: Up to 25 hours a week; full-time in scheduled holidays if eligible
- After graduation: Post-Study Work Visa up to 3 years, depending on your qualification
- Processing: 80% of applications are decided within 7 weeks
- Sponsors from India: Only immediate family can sponsor you or give a financial undertaking
- English test: IELTS, PTE or TOEFL — as your provider requires
